Genetisk mångfald viktigt för skydd av ålgräsängar

Ålgräsets genetiska variation är avgörande om ålgräsängarna längs Västkusten ska kunna skyddas ordentligt i framtiden.

Därför har forskare på Göteborgs universitet tillsammans med Länsstyrelsen i Västra Götaland nu kartlagt den genetiska mångfalden i 18 ålgräsängar – från Kosteröarna i norr, till Styrsö i söder.
